Level 2 Assessor in Barbering and Hairdressing

£22,206 - £26,499 per annum

A level 2 Assessor is required to join the Centre for Health, Wellbeing and Society to work as part of the Hair and Beauty team. You will be responsible for a case load of learners and will liaise with learners to plan and undertake assessments in the workplace.

You will also deliver high quality training and support and monitor them through all aspects of their apprenticeship journey to ensure timely completion of the Apprenticeship framework.

What we are looking for:

You should possess a relevant vocational qualification to at least Level 3 in Barbering and Hairdressing, and hold a TAQA qualification (or be willing to work towards).

You will also need and a recognised teaching qualification to intermediate level (or be willing to work towards to achieve within two years from appointment).

Experience of working within the Barbering and Hairdressing industry is essential as are excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills.
