An industry leading marketing partner are seeking a 2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer to work at their site in Wakefield. Do you have experience working as a 2nd line support engineer in a busy environment? If so then you could be the 2nd Line Support engineer we're looking for.

What will you be doing?

As 2nd Line Desktop support, you will be responsible for providing support to the 70 staff on site in the Wakefield office. You will be the first point of contact for the users and be able to diagnose and resolve both software and hardware incidents. You'll also be responsible for ensuring all new users are set up correctly on both Windows and MacOS and provide the on site support for things like Lync and manage their mobiles and devices.

What skills should you have?

* Windows 7 and 10 desktop OS knowledge
* MacOS experience (Casper would be desirable but not essential)
* Knowledge and understanding building and imaging laptops and desktops
* Network troubleshooting experience

Although not an essential requirement of the role, if you have experience using Microsoft SCSM or G-Suite (formerly Google Apps for Business), then this may benefit your application. Training can be provided for the right person to get up to speed on any areas you might be missing.
