Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a number of experienced cash management roles. Applicants must have previously worked in a legal setting. This an opportunity to be part of a prestigious reputable company with outstanding prospects in the heart of Leeds city centre.

Your role will be to support all business areas by accurately processing any completions accurately and within banking and client SLA's.

Duties include but may not be limited to:

-Identifying electronic receipts received into company client bank accounts and allocating to files accurately and in accordance with Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) Acc. Rules.
-Ensuring all completion statements and bills balance before completing files and query any discrepancies.
-Processing completions for Remortgage, Reposession, Conveyancing and Commercial transactions and ensuring SLA's are met for all.
-Ensuring all Client Accounts remain with a positive balance and any balancing transfers are processed before the end of the day.
-Monitoring outgoing payments throughout the day to ensure no payments are rejected causing delays to completion.
-Monitoring client accounts for funds received.
-Monitoring email inboxes for requests from colleagues in the operation.
-Inputting, authorise and transmit completion monies in accordance with SLA deadlines.
-Investigating queries raised and liaise with other departments and third parties as and when necessary.
-Clearing of any housekeeping issues in accordance with SLA deadlines.
-Updating issues log as and when necessary.
-Ensuring all bank accounts are reconciled accurately on a daily basis.
-Ensuring all items on the reconciliation are investigated and cleared as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will:-

-Have a minimum of 5 GCSE's inc. Maths & English at grade C +.
-Have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in a legal setting.
-Have excellent knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.
-Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the each team.
-Be willing to learn new procedures when necessary to meet the need of the department.
-Be enthusiastic, pro-active and robust, with the ability to take responsibility.
-Have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships internally.
-Have excellent organisational skills, allowing you to prioritise tasks and react effectively to urgent requests.
