Senior Sales Manager


Monday to Friday

Up to £45K basic salary DOE + Bonus and benefits

Our client, a specialist in their field within the outsourcing space, is looking to recruit an experienced and talented Senior Sales Manager to join their Liverpool based operation and oversee up to 60FTE as part of their responsibilities. Not one of the larger BPO's on the market, this particular client has built up a specialism within a very particular part of customer service/ sales and as such has managed to secure contracts with some of the largest household names in the world. They are now looking for someone to work within their management teams to continue their growth.

This role is primarily overseeing a sales function to include multiple team leaders so the successful candidate will have proven experience of managing people through people - ideally in a sales-focussed capacity. Sales/Retentions/Renewals backgrounds will be considered. Both B2B and B2C backgrounds will be considered however, a good working knowledge of business to business interactions will be particularly advantageous.

My client is also a strong advocate for internal growth and as such you are expected to be coaching and developing your teams on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage 3-5 team leaders directly, each with teams of 8-12 advisors
* Motivate, encourage and actively coach in a very sales-focussed environment
* Track and present key activity figures regularly to your line manager highlighting opportunity for process improvement on the way
* Unlike some Sales Operations Manager roles within the outsourcing industry, this role will see ou as a key point of contact with the clients your teams are servicing
* You will regularly communicate with key external stakeholders and as such are accountable for activity, KPIs, SLAs and overall performance of your teams.

Required experience (Please note those without this will not be considered):

* Management of people through people (team leaders reporting directly in to you).
* A proven background within either sales/retentions/renewals
* Overall responsibility for a 35FTE +
* Must either be in a management role now or in most recent role
