My client is immediately looking for an experienced site manager for a £4 mill school project to look after the external works packages over the next 8 weeks.

About the Company/Client/Project:

The role is with the project team at reporting to a project manager to look after a section of works on site namely the drainage, car parks, and associated external packages, working  from initial site set up through to managing and coordinating  multiple work areas  and externals sub-contractors  as the weeks progress .

Dealing with the sub-contractors on site you will assist the project manager to cover the ground and make sure the quality of work and safe practices are adhered to over the course of the project

You will be key both in Dailey and weekly meetings and the out on site management, snagging, and health and safety of the contractors as required

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Applicants must have up to date CSCS SMSTS and 1st aid as well as experience on the civils and external packages of construction projects (preferably schools)

Ideally candidates should be used to working for main contractors and have a no nonsense attitude to health and safety, be organized with paperwork and the management of technical issues out on site.
