We are looking for our clients an experienced property accounts assistant to join the growing accounts team.

Part of an expanding accounts and property management team, you will be responsible for the administration and management of the service charge, ground rent and insurance at all of our developments. You will also manage accounting transactions and records of our investors, many overseas, and carry out general accounting duties.

There are opportunities for growth and personal development within the group for the right candidate.
Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30.
Salary £20-£22k depending upon skills and experience, may pay slightly more.

Key Responsibilities
• Raise and send annual and quarterly service charge, ground rent and insurance demands on time according to the Lease
• Manage and process all book keeping requirements for the portfolio of service charges
• Manage accounting transactions and records of all investors, many international
• Deal with account queries from property owners and investors
• Assist with preparation of service charge budgets
• Assist with the annual service charge reconciliation and audit
• Assist with all aspects of sales ledger including data entry, reconciliation and payments
• Provide advice and assistance to property managers and Directors in relation to service charges
• Ensure the integrity of accounting records and controls in line with legislation

Experience & Skills
• Experience of working in property accounts, ideally residential block management
• Solid understanding of service charge processes, procedures and legislation
• Experience of SAGE and JUPIX preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Great attention to detail, be reliable and organised
• A friendly and professional approach
• Self-motivated, proactive and confident to use own initiative
• Good team player
