Sheridan Maine are working with a global retail organisation based in London to recruit an experienced Head of TAC and Pricing. The TAC and Pricing specialist will own the development of costing tools and supporting data, systems and processes to support Finance and Global sourcing and commercial teams to understand the real cost of landed products, thus driving and optimising business decisions

The successful candidate will have the responsibilities for the following areas:

1. Total Acquisition Cost model development, support, operation and troubleshooting,

2. Direct and Indirect cost data research and validation

3. Management, development and production of management reports and the Coordination of the provision of cost analysis to support commercial analysis activities

4. Calculation, validation, sign off, posting and monitoring of Transfer Prices

5. Management of KIPL's operating finance function and the financial tools to support it; posting of actual costs, standard vs. actual cost reconciliation

Main Responsibilities:

• Process analysis to understand end to end costs for bringing products to markets

• Understand cost dynamics of different routes to markets

• Development of standard cost cards and processes for capturing data and allocation of costs

• Analysis of impact of FX and supporting effective hedging strategies

• Work with Business Partners to drive continuous focused cost initiatives

• Conduct troubleshooting of TAC model, requirement for 1st tier support if there are TAC failures

• Conduct the research and validation all direct and indirect unit costs used in TAC cost conditions for all OpCos

• Derive and calculate all the OSC indirect costs and signing off all uplifts and commissions

• Act as expert on and Influence decisions on transfer prices, retail prices, moving average prices, cost allocations, cost reconciliations

• Setting recommended selling prices and transfer prices that guarantee good margins to Opcos

• Tracking and reporting margins on triple net basis, supporting Commercial team and OSC Finance leadership

• Provide accurate and timely information to Category Business Partners to support pricing recommendations

• Responsible for the sign off and audit of all transfer prices, amounting to hundreds of thousands of SKUs; be the point of contact for regulatory audits and answer audit queries

• Liaise with all relevant stakeholders including Finance, Range, Stock and Supply, RRP team, Regulatory, Group to get pricing approvals

• Manage relationship with Range, Sourcing and Supply and Logistics teams to capture new articles, ranges and suppliers that require pricing

• Own and conduct the pricing change process and monitor economic, commercial and operational events that would prompt a price change

• Manage the development, test and operation of the TAC3 semi-automated 3PL recon tool to ensure actual costs are continuously allocated correctly

• Manage the consolidation of environmental taxes for KIPL

• Delivery Surcharge management

Essential Criteria:

The successful candidate will have proven experience working with key stakeholders; alongside experience working within a SAP environment. You must have a number of years within a similar role or discipline and have an analytical approach to leading a team and implementing processes within a time of guided business transformation.
