To establish an accurate cost on a variety of tender bids and procurement routes prior to adjudication, contribute in the adjudication and post tender process, ensure a positive input into the Estimating Department and the success of our Region.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure sub contract quotations have been collated and checked for compliance prior to use
Price the remaining elements of any scheme using current competitive rates
Ensure all tender documentation has been collated in sufficient time for the adjudication
Attend tender adjudications and explain in detail behind established tender cost
Ensure that supporting tender documentation has been completed correctly and issued to the allocated Bid Writer by due date and time
Follow up with clients in conjunction with the Pre Construction Manager to establish company's standing
Establish and maintain a good professional working relationship with the supply chain
Ensure a non-confrontational approach with any clients or Professional team at any time
Support the Pre-Construction Manager with post tender queries and negotiations
Ensure discipline and professional standards are maintained
To comply with the competition law compliance guidelines
Comply with the terms and conditions detailed within the employees handbook
Look to develop good working relationships with manufacturers, supplier, subcontractors etc. and generate new business opportunities for the company
Any other reasonable management request


What we are looking for:
Solid previous experience of working on Rail/Highways/Airport Sector projects
Excellent ConQuest and Excel Skills
Working experience of presenting technical and complex information
Ability to use own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team
Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize, allocate priorities and manage workload
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent focus on the tender opportunity including attention to detail
Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively delegate as appropriate
