About the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be supporting learning within a Year 4 class, which includes working on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups. Responsibilities include preparing learning materials, classroom activities and supporting the teacher to improve educational attainment throughout the class. The school are particularly proud of their creative and innovative teaching style and welcome a Graduate Teaching Assistant who shares the same ethos and values.

Graduate Teaching Assistant Specification
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious graduate to get their foot in the door of a welcoming Primary school. To be considered for the role you will need to be a responsible graduate who has achieved at least a 2:2 in your degree. Preferably you will hold previous experience of working with children in a school or similar setting and understand the importance of being compassionate and supportive in your role. The school want to meet graduates who can show their effective communication skills and motivate those around them.
