Field Service Engineer

Salary: £28,000 basic OTE £35,000+

Benefits: 25 days holiday + statutory + Choice of car

Shifts: Monday-Friday (days)

Training: 6 weeks full product training in Sweden with ongoing support.

Pension: 6% contribution


An exciting opportunity has arisen as a field service engineer due to continued growth. My client is one of the UK's leading manufactures of sheet processing systems. They have a massive market share and with large accounts along with new customers coming on board they have a need to increase their service team from 40 to 45 in the next 6 months. The turnover of the business is increasing steadily year after year, which mean natural development and progression will be available within the business. Along with this they offer fantastic training with three separate trips to Switzerland for bespoke product training.

The Role:

As a field service engineer your role will be:

* Providing field service support on a wide range of sheet processing systems.
* Working on bespoke machinery from Laser cutting systems, water jet cutting machines and press brakes.
* Developing new customer relationships.
* Providing the Company with the flexibility to support a variety of complex systems with servicing, diagnostics, overhaul, commissioning and installations.
* Covering a set area, selling all available products within the company.

The Candidate:

As a field service engineer you will expect to have:

* Electrical or mechanical qualification
* Excellent communication skills.
* Capability to display a flexible, proactive approach to your work.
* Exceptionally well-organised with experience in prioritising tasks to be capable working under pressure.
