TRAVEL AGENT - INBOUND SALES

Our client is recruiting for both full-time and part-time sales agents to work at their Halifax office. The role is permanent with a salary of £6.70 or £7.20 per hour (age dependent). (£13,587 or £14,602 - Full time hours). You will have the opportunity to earn excellent monthly bonus to enhance your basic salary (typical OTE of 25-30K).

Hours
The role will involve working shift patterns and operational hours are:
Monday to Friday 9am - 10pm
Saturday 9am-9pm
Sunday 10am-9pm
(MUST BE 100% FLEXIBLE ON SHIFTS)

Part-time hours
• Part time hours must be on weekends and or evenings. 5pm – 10pm midweek, weekend shifts Sat 9am – 9pm, Sun 10am - 9pm

We are looking for motivated Sales Agents to sell bespoke holiday packages. In return we offer a realistic OTE of £25,000 with a guaranteed basic. Our benefits include holiday discounts, pension scheme, uncapped commission and childcare vouchers.

As a Sales Agent your role will be to cross sell and upsell holidays to customers over the telephone. Around 70% of calls are inbound leads and roughly 30% is outbound. Using your customer service, sales experience and telephony skills, you will achieve and exceed your sales targets.

As a Sales Agent your duties will be to:
• Identify and sell holidays to customers who have made reservations online.
• Maximise sales using your cross selling and upselling skills
• Use your excellent customer service skills, sales experience and enthusiasm to exceed your sales targets.

Working shifts (early and lates) rotate during the operating hours of Monday to Friday 9am until 10pm, Saturday 9am until 9pm and Sunday 10am until 9pm. An annual leave of 200 hours can be taken flexibly, allowing greater time off during quieter seasons. Our Sales Agents also work longer shifts during busy seasons to maximise their uncapped commission bonus. Matching hours worked to customer demand

The ideal candidate will:
• Have previous experience of working to and meeting targets.
• Have a commitment to shift patterns including evenings and weekends, to be able to work a variety of shifts .
• Have the ability to identify customer needs
• Have good influencing & communication skills
• Display excellent time management and organisational skills.
