Graduates in English, Maths and Sciences are highly sought after to fill the vacancy of Teaching Assistant in my Client Secondary School.

The Maidstone Secondary School has a unique programme where they employ Graduate Teaching Assistants over a full school year to assist in the key subject of English, Maths and Sciences. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class Teachers up to Key Stage 4 level to raise the attainment levels of all students in the core subjects. The new Teaching Assistant will be required to lead focus groups and work on a one-to-one basis with some students.

My client Secondary School will only employ Graduates that are keen to take on a career in Teaching and can give 100% to the school both in class and joining in on extra curricular activities. The last Graduate Teaching Assistant in-situe set up a successful debating club which was very well received by both students and staff. In return for the Graduates commitment, the schools English, Maths and Science Teachers will help build up a dossier of evidence and experiences which can be put towards your PGCE/School Direct application in 2017.

The Secondary School is a well maintained Secondary School with 1200 on roll and a driven and supportive Head Teacher. The School was graded “Good” by Ofsted in 2013 and is regularly over-subscribed.

The School can be accessed via public links but for the car drivers there is ample parking available.

So, if you are a Graduate that has always wanted to teach then this is your opportunity to secure your Teaching Assistant place for a wonderful year of teaching experience. Please send your CV to John at EduStaff today.
