Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated CAMHS practitioner to work full time in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The starting pay rate for this locum CAMHS practitioner job is £23.35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) for weekday shifts, £30.36 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) for Saturday and night shiftd and £37.36 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) for Sundays and Bank Holiday shifts. This role offers an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the CAMHS practitioner:
- To respond to referrals as per the process and priorities of the multi-disciplinary team
- To assess the needs of children, adolescents and their families, either individually or along with other members of the team
- To contribute to multi-agency assessment processes, where these children are already known to the CAMH Service

Requirements of the CAMHS practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in mental health nursing
- Current NMC registration
- Significant NHS experience as a CAMHS practitioner
