EXPERIENCED C&I TECHNICIAN / CONTROLS ENGINEER / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / ENGINEER REQUIRED TO WORK FOR A KEY PLAYER IN THE POWER GENERATOR SECTOR.

TITLE: C&I Technician- Power Generation

CLIENT: My client is a market leader within the Power Generation industry and enjoying great success in this arena. I am now recruiting on their behalf for an experienced C&I Technician to join their team.

SALARY AND PACKAGE: Up to £34,000 including shift allowance, plus a range of benefits including Share Scheme, Pension, Childcare Vouchers and more!

LOCATION: You could live in Warrington, Runcorn, Daresbury and the surrounding areas.

Previous Industries (not exhaustive): Power Generation, biological treatment, Anaerobic Digestion, landfill gas, EfW – energy from waste, Energy recovery facility, power station, generation, MBT, MRF, power station, heavy industry, quarry, aggregates, energy.

ROLE: C&I Technician- Power Generation

You will conduct daily maintenance of plant instrumentation and control systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for fault finding and routine inspections of plant using internal systems, wiring diagrams etc.

You will also identify any issues and forward to management as required.
You will work on a site with PLC’s, SCADA and DCS.

This position will see you respond to breakdowns and conducting maintenance repairs.

You will follow a planned maintenance schedule and be responsible for regular maintenance of plant equipment on site, with a focus on safety critical equipment.

Experience: C&I Technician- Power Generation

You will have a City and Guilds, NVQ or similar qualification with previous experience in a C&I Technician role.

Experience with PLC’s and SCADA would be ideal.

Ideally you will have exposure to a heavy industrial environment.

You will have a general understanding of Health and Safety and Environmental issues in the workplace.

Previous experience of using Computerised Maintenance Management systems is desirable.

A COMPEX qualification an advantage.
