Part Time Accounts Assistant/ Administrator required

Immediate start - initial 3 month contract - may lead to permanent role long term

£9 per hour - Portsmouth

Office Angels are recruiting for our client based in Portsmouth - you must be available to interview in branch this week - week commencing 10th July to be considered for this role and able to start no later than the 18th July 2017.

Hours will be 21 hours per week to be worked flexibly - days to include Monday and Friday, other day(s) to be discussed, flexible to the right candidate.

You may need to work some additional hours if needed, so some flexibility is essential.

Duties will include:

Accounts duties

* Keeping Sage Accounts system to include data inputting and reconciliation to trial balance
* Preparation of monthly variance reports
* Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
* Record and receive all invoices
* Prepare invoicing
* Assist with preparing payroll to submit to accountants
* Assist with petty cash

Administration duties

* Take incoming calls
* Opening and distribute mail
* Create files and organise necessary paperwork onto computer and manual filing system
* Write letters
* Update records
* General admin as needed
* Assist with clients who may visit the front office

Skills required:

You must be able to use Sage 50 efficiently including creating monthly variance reports

You must have good IT skills including Microsoft Office - Word and Excel

You must be able to provide the accounts function independently
