Car Benefit Solutions is a dynamic, values driven company with an outstanding reputation and pride in its commitment to service delivery. This is a regional home based-role with the candidate being required to provide a regional and account management service to clients across the North of England, Scotland and Ireland. Occasional travel to the Head Office in Bury, Lancashire is also required. The main activity in the role is to oversee the retention and growth of both units and loan book across designated territory and work with the Head of Network Development in order to provide clear leadership and guidance on allocated Regional Manager’s activity and performance in order to realise growth. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing a team of field based Regional Managers.

Key responsibilities include:
• Ensure every Regional Manager report has a coherent plan and strategy to drive both retention and growth of existing Dealer Customer fleets.
• Ensure a sensible meaningful plan exists in order to contractually engage with prospect Dealer Group Customers.
• Working with the Regional Managers – test all plans to ensure they are both robust and deliverable.
• Input into the strategic direction of the NDT in order to ensure operationally headline strategy is both resonating for all Dealer Group Customers and is of a sound basis.
• Ensure that every Regional Manager has a plan to achieve the minimum service level agreements by Dealer Group and Site as determined by the Head of Network Development.
• Conduct monthly one to one sessions with every Regional Manager report in order to test and critique every localised operational Dealer plan by Group and Site as well as document and share internally.
• Ensure that best practice is shared amongst all Regional Managers.
• Ensure the wider Field function always has an up to date meaningful toolbox and that the tools issued to Regional Managers are both in line with CBS values and will work amongst all Dealer Networks.
• Monitor that every Regional Manager reports accurately and timely forecasts both personal activity and performance of their respective Regional fleets.
• Lead by example with direct reports in the field, winning new business by finding new angles of approach with our Dealer Group Customers.
• Accurately report at a granular level the Regional Manager activity both historically and their future plans.
• Assist the Head of Network Development with product and approach evolution by adapting a continuous improvement approach with Regional Managers and Head of Department.
• Work with all internal departments, in particular both Marketing and Driver Development to ensure a robust timely sales plan exists in the field for every product and Brand and that the NDT strategy directly dovetails into that of the aforementioned departments.
• Provide the Head of Department with reports of Board level accuracy and detail collective detail about results, activity and future plans.
• Conduct yearly and bi-yearly reviews for Regional Manager reports, document the review, agree the actions and report to Head of People, Culture & Values.
• Ensure that Regional Manager objectives are value adding to both the Regional Manager and CBS and are at all times in line with the CBS values.
• Ensure that all Regional Manager reports are deployed both for maximum efficiency and in a manner that best leverages their activity in order to maximise CBS shareholder value whilst delivering results in line with CBS values.
• Constantly review the NDT function capacity and make proposals to the Head of Department as and when the Regional Manager resource needs changing. The aim is to ensure the headcount for the NDT Field Function is such that all SLAs are achievable, in line with both the CBS values and CBS being the Employer of choice.
• Ensure that all Regional Manager reports are accountable for working in line with the CBS values with all stakeholders - both internal and external.

• Previous retail automotive experience.
