Our client is a well known Independent Brokerage based in Stockport. They pride themselves on their client service and ability to provide a wide range of solutions to their clients. Dealing with Commercial and Personal Lines, their reputation is second to none.

They are now looking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler to work within their Commercial Division. The successful candidate will provide support to the Directors and Senior Account Executives, handling a sizeable portfolio of commercial combined business.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to delegating workload to supporting administrators, processing of policy renewals, negotiating terms with insurers, dealing with clients both on the phone and in the office, mid-term policy adjustments including upkeep of the Motor Insurance Database, checking and issuing policy documents / endorsements and claims handling.

To apply, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years Commercial Account Handling experience across commercial classes of insurance from an Insurance Brokerage, be a strong team player, self - motivated, excellent organisational skills, a good negotiator and a proven track record in providing a first class customer service.
