Are you a Mental Health Nurse looking for your next leadership challenge? Do you want to join an organisation that truly lives its values?

Our client is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to lead the nursing team on our 17 bedded Male Low Secure ward. The successful applicant will have significant experience in working in acute mental health services and have the ability to lead the service through periods of change and development.
Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, the successful applicant will be an RMN with appropriate clinical and managerial experience and the skills and ability to lead and motivate others.
The role requires knowledge of quality performance indicators and the role they play in contract review, experience and skills in risk assessment and management in secure settings, an understanding of the role of the NHS contract in independent hospital service provision, communicating professionally and knowledgeably at all times and proven ability to manage and implement robust structures that enable staff to deliver quality evidence-based care.
You need to have 3 or more years’ experience as a Teal Leader/Band 6 in Mental Health services.

This role needs someone who:
Can motivate team members and lead by example
Support the team in making clear and consistent clinical decisions
Lead on risk assessment and training for the service
Implement CQUINs goals and outcomes
Develop opportunity, liaise with referrers and communicate well with outside agencies.
This role is a 7 month Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave.
