Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/ Continuous Improvement Manager
£50000 - £60000 + Excellent Bonus

As a global leader and a major automotive group, our client is investing in their highly supported continuous improvement programme and seeks an addition team member for their UK & European Continuous Improvement and Change team. The job holder will work on a variety of exciting projects and initiatives in close conjunction with site operational teams, using expertise in lean manufacturing and six sigma to identify continuous improvement opportunities and then deliver structured projects to achieve measurable improvements in Quality, Cost and Delivery (Process)

We are looking for established Lean Six Sigma practitioners who can demonstrate a genuine interest in improvement roles, are technically competent and have a flair for coaching & development of others.
o Contribute to the ongoing development of the improvement strategy
o Implement the Lean Six Sigma improvement plans locally, establishing appropriate workgroups to safely deliver improved competitiveness across the business.
o Ensure Lean Six Sigma improvement plans are aligned to support delivery of the Business plans across EMEA manufacturing operations.
o Co-ordinate project selection, ensuring adequate metrics are established and learning is fully shared across the business
o Provide mentoring and coaching to assigned Leaders from sites (EMEA) region to deliver benefits aligned to site/departmental improvement plans.
o Implement and develop the Lean Six Sigma culture change process that can be shared across all areas of the business from shop-floor to executive level.

Requirements:
o Experience in either engineering team or production leadership would be desirable
o Demonstrated leadership beyond direct authority with significant influencing skills.
o Able to demonstrate considerable experience in a manufacturing and / or technical environment including involvement in business improvement projects and techniques.
o Extensive experience of implementing and managing a Lean Six Sigma (or similar) methodology within a large scale manufacturing/engineering environment
o A self started able to work across multiple sites - must be willing to travel
o Working within and directing multicultural work teams would be an advantage
o Management of change within a large organisation
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Certified through an established programme as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or higher.
