Support Engineer (1st or 2nd Line), Farnborough, up to £35k DOE

My client who are an independent software vendor and cloud services provider are seeking a 1st or 2nd line support engineer, with a strong technical background that can ideally speak a foreign language to join their growing support team.

In this role you will work closely with global external customers and Product/Design teams to proactively reduce reasons for customers needing to contact Support as well as handling support queries in the most efficient and effective way possible. 

Responsibilities include: Telephone & email support, logging of all calls, creating/updating cases in call logging system, troubleshooting product related issues using resources available and remote assistance when required.

Required Skills:

- Exposure and understanding of Exchange 2007 and higher is crucial
- Good exposure to Microsoft technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to express technical issues to non-technical business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, write and oral
- Team player and self motivated


- Experience in a company producing cloud-based products
- Active Directory

This position will be shift work varying from 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm.
