Our client is a growing manufacturer who demonstrate ambitious growth and development plans for their business.
They are now recruiting for a part-time Supply Chain Administrator to support the Supply Chain Manager and Demand Planner.

The role would suit candidates who can 'hit the ground running', using their administrative skills and experience to excel within a busy office and friendly team environment.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is temporary to permanent and the hours are part-time 8.30am - 12.30pm Monday to Friday. There is some flexibility on hours.


* Raise monthly purchase orders through Sage, send and confirm paperwork with suppliers.
* Expedite purchase orders.
* Monitor lead times on products and suppliers.
* Monitor and track purchase orders and confirm the agreed dates.
* Update Sage with lead times and supplier's information.
* Advise the Demand Planner of any possible late deliveries.
* Maintain and update our Sage System with shipping dates and arrival dates.
* Maintain shipping files per order with PO's, CI, PL, BL documents.
* Ensure Freight Forwards provide correct documents and keep promised shipment dates.
* Update Sage with due delivery dates.
* Full tracking of orders and freight from International sources.


The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience in a similar role - a background in logistics or supply chain would be advantageous
* Experience of using SAGE is essential
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Highly organised and self motivated
* Strong analytical skills
* Can take their own initiative
* Are happy to work in a fast moving environment
