Medacs Healthcare have over 25 years experience of delivering high quality care to vulnerable adults in their own homes.

Due to continued business growth, we are now recruiting for a full-time Trainer in South London working mainly from our Croydon Office. You will be required to deliver the Care Certificate standards and mandatory refresher training to new and existing care workers along with End of Life, Challenging Behaviour, Children's Safeguarding and other Health and Social Care related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

* To ensure that training is delivered to the highest possible standards at all times, in line with government legislation and the organisation's policies and procedures.
* To assist the Training Manager with the development of new standards as and when required.
* To deliver "needs based" training as and when required
* To support and assist Care Workers to achieve the required care standards.
* To support in the delivery of training to field based Care Assessors
* To identify any areas of additional support required by new care workers and to arrange any ad-hoc training as deemed appropriate.
* Effective use of all training materials, aids and equipment.
* To ensure effective course evaluation and feedback is monitored, communicated and acted on where appropriate.
* To produce clear and concise training records and reports.
* Essential Qualifications:

* Experience of delivering current Care Standards.
* Experience of delivering Complex care training, for example End of Life, Children's Safeguarding etc.
* Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
* Computer literate with the ability to use Word, Excel, e-mail, Power-Point.
* Excellent time-keeping/attendance record.
* Time Management skills.
* Desirable skills/experience:

* A full UK driving licence and unrestricted access to a vehicle.
* Willingness to travel to other branches to provide holiday cover and share your skills
* Experience of Health & Social Care sector.
* Train the Trainer certificate e.g. Moving & Handling, BLS, and Health & Safety.
