A PMO Analyst job in Brighton & Hove for up to £45K

An exciting and varied job vacancy for a PMO Analyst has arisen within a major Insurance and Financial Services business in the Brighton & Hove region of East Sussex.

The duties of the roles are set out as follows:

Within the role you will work alongside project delivery to coach and support these colleagues, drive best practice, and monitor and promote consistency of approach and compliance with process standards.

Support the Portfolio Lead and Programme Office Manager in the preparation and execution of independent assessments of projects/programmes and their performance against plan

Plan and prepare for projects and Quality Assurance meetings following the standard project methodology

Challenge the content and quality of the data provided by the project managers where appropriate

Provide support and guidance to Project Managers (and other stakeholders as required) in establishing projects and the application of the project lifecycle

Act for the Senior PMO Analyst as required

Support the development of improved project control processes, templates and documents

Support the preparation of strong project documentation and controls

You will promote process compliance and standardisation across the IT & Change functions and ensure that the core processes meet the needs of the stakeholders and proactively provide input to the PMO in response to portfolio needs.

Skills Required

Project Management delivery methodology (Watferfall & Agile). End to end project management lifecycle.

Sound understanding of PMO processes, standards and governance

Significant project methodology knowledge (e.g. SCRUM, PMP, PRINCE 2).

Experience in the creation, deployment and management of processes, tools and frameworks to deliver change

Experience working in/with teams who employ both waterfall and agile methodologies

Proven experience in stakeholder management, providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes

Strong results-focused leadership skills, able to work collaboratively and influence

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Understanding of the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of digital projects/products
