* Position: Housing Developer based in Warrington are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor. Long-term career prospects

* Role: New-Build - Residential - Acquisition to Final move-in

* Person: Quantity Surveyor with Housebuilder experience circa 3 years minimum QS experience.

Established for over 100 years, this Housebuilder are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Warrington offices to work on Residential developments across the North West. The company currently turns over in excess of £200m and employ over 800 staff.

The Residential developments consist of 2 to 5 bedroom houses and recent projects include: An over 55 assisted living development with communal activity areas, a 4 and 5 bedroom development in the centre of a picturesque Cheshire village and a development of 90 2,3, and 4 bedroom houses in Oldham.

Role: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Warrington

Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 - Car Allowance, Death in Service cover, Healthcare, Generous matched Pension

Duties: The Quantity Surveyor will report to the Commercial Manager

Duties will include -

* Evaluating sub-contractor claims for payments, negotiating, approving and issuing payments.
* Agreeing and settling final accounts
* Assessment of variations and time extension
* Assessing of monthly internal and external cash flows
* Liaising with contract managers to schedule start dates and review progress reports.
* Measuring works and issuing claims to the client in accordance with NHF rates

Requirements: The Quantity Surveyor will be comfortable being handed a project and delivering it with little or no assistance. Experience from a Housebuilding background would be highly beneficial.
