Fantastic opening in a small organisation for a Team Leader. As a team leader, your role will be to assist the Service manager in smooth running of the home and to enable the support workers in promoting client independence using person centred approaches as a team leader to promote positive outcomes for clients as well as staff.

The organisation offers a holistic range of services which include supported living and outreach services.

 Adults with learning disabilities
 Adults on the Autistic spectrum
 Adults with mental health issues
 Elderly

Reporting to the Assistant and Service manager
1) The purpose of this role is to ensure that the individual needs of clients are supported and met the highest of standards
2) To Support the Assistant and Service Manager to ensure that staff are within their training dates
3) To support and deputise for the Supporting Independence managers in developing the staff team.
4) To carry out management tasks as directed by the managers. To ensure the service is delivered to a high standard and in line with the values of Supported Independence. For example, rotas, staff supervisions, group supervisions, staff meetings, Audits.
5) Supporting the day to day running of the organisation including organising of staff rotas.
6) Monitoring performance and ensuring the implementation of person centred plans.
7) Having a good knowledge of current legislation and good practice.
8) Having a good understanding of the issues that affect individuals with complex needs
9) Managing the care and support plans.
10) Assessing and managing risk.

Current manual driving license preferred although automatic
