Salary £21,000
Based in Kidderminster
Due to continued growth, development and expansion my client based within the Kidderminster area is looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join their team in a newly renovated and refurbished establishment.
Duties & Responsibilities
To assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef to maintain and grow the department, maintain high levels of service that consistently exceeds the expectations of our customers.

To oversee, within the limits of the hotel policies and procedures, all aspects of departmental duties and tasks.

To ensure that the department operates efficiently according to the business demands and delivers exceptional service to all guests.

To ensure all team members are trained to the company standards.

To liaise and work closely with other team members maintaining a professional and respectful work culture. To assist with any reasonable requests made by the Head Chef or General Manager for the good of the hotel.
Person Specification:

Experience within a 4 star Hotel and/or 2AA Rosette Restaurant
Food Hygiene qualified
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills to include a sound knowledge of food GP's and profit.
Excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety.
Proven track record as a successful manager in a similar role with NVQ level 3/4 or similar level qualification preferred
