Facilities Maintenance Manager
Head Office – Aston Birmingham

Our Client is a leading Building Service Installation company’s in the construction industry specialising in Mechanical and Electrical works in mostly high end residential schemes. We are expanding our business further by adding a facilities maintenance department to the business. The new department will be responsible for maintaining our own installations with our current clients.

We now need a strong candidate to join our hardworking and friendly team that can assist in the setup and development of this new department.

The candidate we are looking for must have good understanding of the requirements to fully maintain large high end residential buildings for our healthy bank of client. This is a secure position with a highly-regarded business offering real earnings and career potential.

The role will require a certain sales edge as you will be developing leads with current and new clients that require maintenance services.

We are looking for a candidate to have an understanding of hard FM services including planned and reactive maintenance to the mechanical, electrical, heating and ventilation systems.

Ideally you will have experience within the management of Hard FM services with good knowledge and understanding of the following commercial and domestic systems:

• Sprinkler systems
• Wet / Dry risers
• Electrical installations (desirable)
• Chillers
• Plantrooms:
o Boiler’s
o CHP’s
o Cold water storage
o Booster pumps
o Circulation pumps
o Heating
o Water quality
o BMS controls Domestic
• Heating and cooling interface units
• Ventilation
• Underfloor heating
• Hot and cold water services

This position may be ideal for a mechanical contract engineer with some experience of FM services looking for a new opportunity and challenge.

The position will be predominately based in our Head Office in Aston with some travel to London for Client meetings as and when required.

Full UK driving license required.

This is a full time permanent role and is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate with a real opportunity to progress within the Company.

Hours of work are:
08.30 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday
08.30 – 16.00 Fridays

25 days’ annual leave plus the normal statuary holidays.
