The UK and Ireland subsidiary of a dynamic, growing business based in Maidenhead are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to a small accounting function where their role will be to support the Accountant in all day to day finance activities. The responsibilities will be:
·         Processing and paying employee expenses
·         To solely manage the company's Accounts Payable ledger including coding and entering purchase               invoices through to payment
·         Reconcile supplier statements
·         Posting and reconciling all inter-company transactions
·         To manage Bank Reconciliations for both GBP and Euro accounts
·         Maintaining the cash book
·         Allocating cash from remittances on a daily basis
·         Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments
·         Assisting month/year end accounting close
Applicants will have strong background in accounts payable as well as broader day to day accounts exposure and must have highly proficient Excel skills to at least Pivot table level. If you studying AAT, this would be considered advantageous with regards to succession planning in the department. Being in a small department, you will need to have flexible approach and be a strong team player
