2nd Line Support Engineer

Are you a 2nd Line Support Engineer? Overworked? Struggling to keep on top of the workload? demands from the team getting to you? I know you are reading this nodding away?

You will be a 2nd Line Support Engineer in a Fintech who stand above the competition by their reputation and their long-standing knowledge of their market.

2nd Line Support Engineer Day to day duties will involve:

* Responding to support requests submitted by the customer support department.
* Investigating, documenting and replicating reported bugs - escalating where necessary
* Resolving common issues.

2nd Line Support Engineer Requirements:

* Are you familiar with bug tracking / support software (Jira, chilli project, Bugzilla or similar)?
* Do you have experience using Linux (Debian) based file systems?
* Can you diagnose and troubleshoot pro-actively
* Scripting knowledge experience (Python, Ruby, Perl)

2nd Line Support Engineer major Pluss

* If have an understanding of XML, HTML, CSS, RESTful service
* Experience with relational databases (SQL)
* Although ticking more boxes if you know oracle, MySQL, Postgres (ideally) etc
