We are a cutting edge development and manufacturing business based in the Swindon area and due to success and continued growth we are recruiting to add several Production Team Leaders to our established team.

The Production Team Leader will complete the following role:

- The Production Team Leader will supervise a team of 6 on a day to day basis. 
- Working to ensure they and the team adhere to EHS requirements. 
- Reporting to the Production supervisor you will plan and organise activities across teams and communicate internally as required.  
- Ensure Compliance to Standard Operating procedures.
- Taking clear responsibility and leadership of your team and resolve problems to maximise efficiency, whilst also knowing when it is appropriate to escalate.
- Provide clear and concise leadership to up to 10 individuals
- The Production cell leader will help to provide a safe working environment at all times.
- The Production Teamleader will monitor team performance and output of your assigned teams and make adjustments to production activities or manpower if required in order that KPI`s are achieved.

The Candidate 

- As the Production Team Leader, Cell Leader or Production Supervisor you will have gained experience from a manufacturing or prototype build industry. 

- Experienced in leading a team with the ability to train and coach a number of individual to fulfil their full potential.  

- Previous experience of supporting direct report team members through personal development plans, having recognised high achievers and sustained motivation.

- Good organisational skills, self motivated and ability to work under pressure.

- Able to carry out work instructions and work on own initiative

- Problem solving skills with a base understanding of lean manufacturing tools and techniques.

6am  – 2pm (One week)
2pm – 10pm (One week)
(With a very occasional need to work nights once per 3 weeks during very busy periods)

Salary   – £28,000 - £31,000
Pension – 19% company contribution
Holidays – 25 days holiday + Bank holidays
