Account Manager/ Sales Executive

Location: Harlow
Position: Account Manager/ Internal Sales
Salary/Rate: Flexible dependent on experience
Type: Permanent - ASAP start
Key Responsibilities:
Work in conjunction with a team of Internal Sales Specialists and Sales Support Assistants. The role will be of a pro-active nature and will involve actively managing accounts alongside sales support staff. You will be expected to take full responsibility of email correspondence for your accounts
* You will need to adhere to service level agreements (SLA's) in responding to customers.
* A consistent approach and high attention to detail
* Positive outlook and a 'can do' attitude
* Role reports into internal Sales Manager
The selling function will include:
* Take the customer through the sales process
* Good ability and knowledge of various sales techniques
* Deliver sales pitches on focus days and weeks to persuade customers to purchase products.
* Taking inbound calls for sales enquiries
* Participating in targeted focus days/weeks
* Minimum 30 outgoing calls to be made every day
* Research required information, using available sources to find out more about customers and potential customers
* Identify and overcome objections
* Obtain customer information and maintain customer databases
* Seize opportunity to upsell products when they arise.
* Ability to be creative and adaptive to meet various brand's needs.
* Build sustainable relationships with customers
* Managing accounts
* Loading orders and managing orders on Oracle
* Checking availability and answering you customer's queries
Performance Measures
* Year on year account growth - revenue, gross profit and vendor breadth
* Delivery of performance against customer SLA's
* Satisfaction of associated management
* Consistency and accuracy
* Customer Excellence implementation

* Excellent customer service skills and drive for customer satisfaction
* Excellent relationship building skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Persuasiveness and adaptability
* Commercial Awareness
* Strong Planning & Organisation skills
* Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Word and Excel
* Excellent sales skills
* Proven track record of over achieving on targets
