The Company
My client is a global market leader in the semiconductor industry. Having established themselves with leading technology solutions, they're expanding, they seek growth strategically and are looking for an exceptionally driven Sales Manager to join them on a Permanent basis. Their complex machinery is an innovative solution to the high-end electrical market, some of their key clients would be the market leaders such as Samsung, LG, Apple and many others amongst this group of elite manufacturers.

The Role
A unique position for a Sales Manager to take charge of strategy to grow, expansion in the UK and Globally. You are to create strategies and take the company into new sectors utilising your experience.

Your focus will be to build and expand the client's products and services with long-term strategies. Albeit successful, the company's ambitious growth plans require a strategic approach, a leader, someone who can drive and ensure the sales force remains focused in over exceeding expectations. You will be accustom to working to high-value targets monthly and annually. Previous experience of managing a team will be key.

You will travel internationally as and when required to meet client requirements. Typically you will travel between 40%-50% of the year, so please do bare this in mind when applying. International experience is a must for this role.

The Candidate
This is a unique role for a self-motivated sales individual with a desire to build their career within this multi-million £ market. You will possess an Engineering degree or qualification, with in-depth knowledge of selling complex machinery - robotics or chemical reaction based machines would be advantageous. Someone who has International experience will be best suited to this role, as travelling overseas will be a large section of your role.

Success Characteristics:

Degree or Equiv - Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Business or Science degree

Excellent leadership skills and experience

Strong sales strategy, initiative to take company into new areas and sectors

Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills

Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels within a matrix management structure
Creative and critical thinker
Good technical skills with strong business acumen

Motivated to travel Internationally and work independently and effectively within a multicultural environment
