About the Maths Teaching Assistant Role
This Maths Teaching Assistant position involves supporting teaching and learning in the Maths department. In addition to general responsibilities you will be expected to attend small intervention groups as well as lead 1:1 sessions for struggling or high achieving pupils. You will be developing teaching experience in class and through the training offered to you by a mentor Senior Teacher. You will have a chance to contribute to the wider life at the school, participating in one of the many extra-curricular activities available here. The leadership team have a habit of taking on their favourite support staff in a more permanent capacity through the School Direct teacher training plan.
