Overall Job Purpose
Responsible for the Coordination and planning of contract/service maintenance activities, on a customer site

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Organising, planning and supervising the contract/service maintenance and installation work on site
• Participating as a member of a team, as required by the appointed manager
• To maintain regular liaison with the appointed manager on service activities, with special regard to matters requiring urgent attention such as impending delays and deviations, using both verbal and written communication - as appropriate
• To identify selling opportunities for company products with both existing and new customers and feedback to the appointed manager
• Liaison with the customer to build and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring that the image presented suitably represents the high standards required by the Company
• Identify and record equipment, process and performance improvements are observed during work activities and feedback to the appointed manager
• Dealing with sub-contractors, suppliers and engineers, on a daily basis
• Provide written reports on the condition of plant and equipment, following any service activity
• Assist in the set-up of new commodity management sites at customer locations, introducing established working processes and providing support and guidance to both the company and client staff
• Assist in the preparation of estimates and quotations requested by our customers
• Preparation of all documents to comply with site procedure/policy
• To obtain or provide risk assessments and method statements for work activities
• To assist in the establishment of clearly defined performance or acceptance criteria, to achieve prompt and efficient customer buy-off
• Undertake supervision of installation and service activities, including control of sub-contractors, progress monitoring and snagging
• To control materials and equipment delivered to site and ensure fitness for purpose
• To respond to reasonable requests for urgent customer assistance
• At all times to work in a safe manner within the Health and Safety at Work Act
• To adhere to Company policy and operate within procedures and work instructions
• In addition to the duties listed above, the Contract Coordinator is required to perform other duties as reasonably requested by their appointed manager

Other Requirements
• Flexible working hours including weekend working and bank holidays
• Clean Driving Licence

Person Specific

Formal Qualifications
• Essential: GCSE or NVQ Level 3
• Desirable: Electrical / Mechanical qualification - City & Guilds or equivalent

• Essential: Experience in the Automotive Industry Health and Safety regulations and Legislation

• Essential: Customer service, Handling customer queries and complaints, Supervision of sub-contractors
• Desirable: Problem solving, Experience of servicing & maintenance activities

• Essential: Supervisory skills, Articulate communication skills both oral and written, Completes tasks from start to finish
• Desirable: Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines, Problem solving – aptitude

Personal Qualities
• Essential: Organised; able to plan and prioritise activities, Works off own initiative, Flexible approach, Good relationship builder at all levels
• Desirable: Willingness to continue to learn and develop
