We have a full time Care Coordinator vacancy for an individual who is keen to be part of a friendly and progressive team. We require our successful candidate to have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle as you may be required to pick up visits to clients as and when is needed.

The rate of pay for this position is £8.48 per hour. Please note that you will also be paid for on call duties.

Purpose of Role:

As a Care Coordinator, you will be based at our office in the centre of Eastbourne. The purpose of the role is to assist in ensuring that the Carer’s availability matches the care provision of our clients using our database system, assist with invoicing and other financial processes, participate in the monitoring of service provision as well as participating in the on-call rota.

Key Duties:

· To support Community Manager/s in any aspect of the management of the company as required.

· Ensure that client care calls are covered by home carers

· To participate in the recruitment, interview and to allocate work to staff.

· To assist in the management of personnel performance, including appraisals, inductions, training, use of equipment etc.

· To receive enquiries and when required to undertake assessments for the implementation of care packages.

· To monitor client satisfaction by undertaking periodic reviews and dealing with any complaints.

· To participate in the “on-call” rota and undertake care duties if required.

· To participate in and be aware of the company’s organisational goals and targets, including quality assurance.

· To maintain professional development and be aware of Health & Safety responsibilities.

· To undertake and cover care calls to clients at short notice, so access to a vehicle is essential

· To attend meetings as required.

· To promote the company via marketing and advertising.

To undertake spot checks.


· Experience in community care (Preferred but not essential)

· Undertaken NVQ 2 (Preferred or a willingness to undertake the award)

· Experience in administration

· Understand the use of basic computer programmes

· Positive can do attitude

· Clean driving license
