Events / Operations Executive
International Events co. - SW London
up to £25k

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events / Operations Executive to join our client - an international events company in South West London.

Organising small to medium sized events including conferences, exhibitions, dinners and meetings, you will be responsible for logistics including speaker logistics, show organisation, exhibitor and sponsor logistics, budget reports, travel and hotel arrangements and post show evaluation.

This role will include international travel; therefore the flexibility and availability to travel is required.

You will need to have:

  • Previous experience in conference and/or exhibition coordination
  • A highly organised, methodical, accurate and meticulous nature
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
  • Speaker, VIP, sponsor or exhibitor management experience
  • The ability to liaise at all levels
  • Proactive problem solving skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Adaptable, flexible and hardworking team player
  • PC literate including MS Office

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Event organisation: venue liaison, staffing, catering, furniture hire, security, traffic, registration, travel arrangements etc.
  • Managing suppliers
  • Production of technical information for exhibitors
  • Responding to requests from speakers, sponsors and exhibitors
  • Assisting with managing costs/budgets and producing reports
  • Attend meetings and events
  • Responsibility for accurate floor plans
  • Post show analysis and reporting
