The Company

Our client is a market leading travel company. They have been providing holidays and business trips for more that 36 years. We have several positions open in Central London and Croydon.

The Role

You will be answering incoming telephone calls from leisure and business travellers. Your job is to convert enquiries into sales by using your excellent listening skills and our client´s in house state of the art software to create a bespoke travel itinerary that is ideal for the customer. Once the trip is booked you will be the personal Travel Manager for that client and look after every part of their journey. The most successful travel consultants build up a base of loyal clients who always only book with them because they offer the best value and excellent customer service.

The Candidate

At least 2 years experience of selling directly to the public (B2C) preferably over the phone

Proven record of success in a competitive, target focused sales environment

Proven record of creating rapport and repeat business in sales

Proven record of learning about and researching new products

An ability to communicate clearly over the telephone together with an excellent command of both written and spoken English

Experience of travelling outside Europe and a good knowledge of geography would be beneficial.

Able to work flexible shifts, including a proportion of weekend days and be located reasonably close to place of work
