Communications Manager is required for a multinational Foodservice brand based in Slough
Communications Manager MUST have experience connected with the Food industry.

A passion for Food industry / Food is ESSENTIAL.

The Package:

£34K - £40K , Company Car or allowance, 25 days holiday pa, Healthcare cash plan, employee discounts

The Role:

"Working closely with our PR agency and senior management team, to champion and enhance our reputation with key stakeholders including the foodservice media, customers and key internal stakeholders. To develop and ensure our key messages and tone of voice are delivered through all our external communications. To ensure we remain compliant with newspaper and copyright legislation."

The Role:

Manage PR administration including invoicing and licensing applications. Provide a monthly update on expenditure and variance to budget, highlighting any potential over/underspend
Attend company and industry events, award dinners and other opportunities to raise our company profile and build relationships with journalists and key industry figures.
Develop and manage our annual PR plans in line with our proposition, key messaging, marketing plans, business strategy and budget. Co-ordinate wider teams for timely contributions that are on message.
Working with the PR agency and senior team to support the management of crisis communications both internally and with external media
Support the planning and delivery of customer marketing advertising, and ad hoc support for sponsorships and video creation


Hold at least 3 years' experience in PR and/or marketing communications and/or a degree in marketing communications or similar subject
Must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel throughout the UK, occasionally including overnight stays
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to articulate messages in a clear, concise and inspiring way
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the food/beverage industry and a passion for food,
Must have good phone etiquette and be confident speaking to journalists and senior teams
Excellent attention to detail and able to proof read efficiently and accurately
Understanding of copy write legislation and legalities of copywriting and practical implications,
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload i.e. good timekeeping
A creative thinker, able to apply a creative approach to problem solving
