Part time and full time opportunities available

Person Specification: The Critical Unit are looking for enthusiastic and motivated registered nurses to join their nursing team, where patients require intensive and high dependency care.

You will be responsible for delivering quality nursing care that supports the department to provide a quality service that responds to the needs of their acute and critically ill patients.

The hospital offer a 6 week induction programme, mentor support groups and National Steps Competency level 1 for all their nurses. They have a full multidisciplinary approach to their care with a daily multi-disciplinary team meeting.

A new and exciting opportunity waits for you to gain experience in caring for many aspects within the specialty. There are opportunities for mentorship and critical care qualifications in the future. There are 6 consultants, 2 senior sister/charge nurses and a matron to support you in your development. All staff work very closely with the nursing team striving to provide a quality service, including a nurse-led follow-up service for patients post critical care.

You will be required to work flexibly across the 24-hour shift pattern and take part in the internal rotation system.
