Your new role
Your new role is for a Multi-skilled Engineer working on a selection of sites around the South West within a team covering repair of mechanical / electrical building services equipment, fabric repairs and project works. You will be working closely with other trades staff on site. You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, such as mechanical and electrical PPM and reactive works, painting, joinery, minor building repairs, caretaking, porterage and other general duties in support of the client's requirements. You will need to be comfortable maintaining accurate site records in association with all site works as well as carrying out tasks within typical building environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders. All access and PPE will be provided.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new role you will need to hold a City & Guilds/NVQ in either Building Services Engineering, Plumbing or Electrical Installation/Maintenance or equivalent. 17th Edition, PASMA and IPAF would also be an advantage. You will need to be well presented and have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with clients and customers all the time in your role.
What you'll get in return
In return for your hard work you will receive a salary of £30,000 depending on your experience plus benefits package including 24 days holiday and pension contribution. You will be working in a well established team working closely with other trades and outside contractors. You will have also recieve a van and fuel allowance.
