Condition Monitoring Engineer

Central Belt Scotland

to £35k + Vehicle (or car allowance) + laptop + phone + pension

Our client specialise in the provision of condition monitoring and reliability services within a diverse range of manufacturing environments, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly self-motivated and experienced Condition Monitoring Engineer required to work at a range of client sites throughout the Central Belt Scotland region and surrounding areas as well as occasionally further afield and overseas.

The successful Condition Monitoring Engineer candidate will be responsible for building relationships with client sites, managing your site work by organising your work equipment, and ensuring site work is completed including data collection and analysis and/ or surveys completed.

To be considered for this varied and challenging role, you will essentially demonstrate skills and experience in a maintenance role and/or condition monitoring engineer role, and will be skilled in data collection and vibration analysis, with experience gained with thermal imaging, ultrasonics and laser alignment proving distinctly advantageous.

It is expected that you will be HNC/HND qualified or above in a Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline, with excellent IT and communication skills (both written and verbal) for a customer facing role.

You will be provided with a company car, fuel card, laptop, business mobile phone, pension scheme and it is obviously ESSENTIAL that you possess a current valid driving licence. Standard working hours apply for the role (Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm) although you will need to be flexible to work hours to suit client needs, and there could be very occasional shift, weekend or overseas work if required.

You will work from home with some visits to the office.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a world class supplier of engineering services, if you feel you possess the relevant skills and experience to be considered, please apply through CV Library
