Key Stage 1 Teacher Permanent- Tower Hamlets - MPS
Job Description - Year 1 Teacher
School - Popular Catholic Primary School
Job Location - Tower Hamlets
Job Salary - £28,098 - £38,241
Would you like to join a friendly school where the children are willing to learn?
Are you a teacher who wants to teach and not have to concentrate solely upon data?
If so then Guardian Angels Catholic Primary School could be the perfect choice for you. The school and its staff are friendly and community oriented, and the school rarely have to recruit due to the positive environment created by both the approachable staff and well behaved children. In the schools, last OFSTED inspection, we were graded as "Good" and wish to maintain this level.
The school has a strong emphasis on CPD for Teachers so that they can develop as the children do. On a recent visit with the school one of the current teachers, who was working on supply at the time, advised me that she had been placed on several CPD courses in her time there to assist her teaching, which is extremely rare due to the investment required by the school. Therefore, this makes it very apparent that the school has the best interests of the Teachers as well as the Children at the forefront of their objectives.
We are currently looking for a Year 1 teacher to join our one form entry school and help us create a comfortable and welcoming learning environment for our pupils. You should be an experienced Year 1 Teacher who is looking for a great school, where you will have the opportunity to really impact the learning journey of your pupils. As the Year 1 Teacher you should be able to encourage the learning of those in your care and should be sympathetic and accepting of the school's Catholic ethos.
The schools outlook remains focused on the wellbeing of the Children and the Teachers and not solely on the Data and Statistics which now play such a major role in the lives of Teachers. With this being the case, the role would suit a teacher who wants to work within a more relaxed teaching environment, where you have the opportunity to put forth your own ideas and lesson plans to an experienced staff who can guide you and not pressurise you to change to their methods.
If you would like to work in a friendly school environment where you can be a part of a community atmosphere, then this could be the school for you.
