Exciting Portfolio Analyst role within leading Fund Administrator.

Permanent role based in Central London with excellent progression opportunities.

Client Details

Ee provide fund administration and depositary services to a range of debt, infrastructure, private equity and real estate clients

Description

  • Administer AIFM services for a portfolio of real estate, private equity and infrastructure funds

  • Client relationship management including ongoing multi-channel communication such as face-to-face, telephone and email.

  • Undertake the client take on process and client risk assessments.

  • Ensuring that all permanent files are adequately maintained for existing customers and new customers for the real estate customers.

  • Ongoing monitoring and oversight of the Fund / Fund Sponsor - ensuring controls and procedures are adequate and are being adhered to, ensuring the fund is being managed in accordance with the fund documentation.

  • Sensitive conversations with our clients will be led by the Assistant Manager and Head of Department and will need to be documented by the Analyst who will be required to develop an intimate knowledge of our clients businesses.

  • Delivering work to the expected standard and timeframes.

Profile

  • Previous experience in portfolio management in the real estate / private equity industry would be an advantage however is not essential.

  • An understanding of the principles of control frameworks and risk management.

  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.

  • Excellent attention to detail and an inquisitive mind-set.

  • Ability to think laterally about the practical application of the AIFMD, particularly in relation to the verification of a diverse portfolio of assets.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations for which there may be little precedence.

  • Ability to work in a small company environment with focused and hardworking individuals.

  • Ability to plan effectively, with strong deadline orientation.

  • The individual must have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

  • Strong numeracy and written communication skills.

  • Strong MS Office skills
