We are currently recruiting for a Payments Filtering Officer to join an international finance institution based in the City of London.

Key duties will include:

  • Investigate account enquiries, from both internal and external sources, and respond in a professional, polite and timely manner
  • Screening/Filtering of payments and transactions
  • Distribute statements to customers and departments
  • Issue Client Cheque Books
  • Process cheque collections/clearing on behalf of Clients
  • Process Client payment instructions by calling the customer back, checking signatures and bala
  • Issue Internet Banking passwords and assist Clients with Internet Banking enquiries
  • Issue Client Debit Cards and assist with Debit Card enquiries
  • Operate a cash desk ensuring all payments and receipts are authorised, accurate and complete processed in accordance with procedures
  • Offer feedback to and share best practice with team members as required so that their individuals and collective performance meets the current and future needs of the business
  • Support changes to systems, processes and working practices in order to achieve operational improvement
  • Support and embrace a culture of Compliance, Conduct Risk and Continuous Improvement

Key experience will include:

  • Experience within a Client Facing role within a Financial Services institution is essential
  • Prior experience within a payments filtering role is also required
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, SafeWatch, Flexcube

This is an ongoing temporary role and the client is willing to pay a competitive market rate for this position.
