TEC Partners Ltd is currently recruiting for a Senior JavaScript Developer to work for an Insurance company based in Central London. We are looking for developers who are passionate about technology both in and out of work, value good practices such as clean simple code and can help mentor more junior members of the team. They are currently expanding their insurance platform to introduce new products which is why they are looking to expand the development team.

In a perfect world:

  • At least 3 - 6 years of Javascript development experience.
  • Manic about clean code principles and practices.
  • React or Angular.
  • Experience writing JavaScript in a functional way (example lodash/fp or ramda).
  • TDD / BDD.
  • Feel comfortable giving and taking feedback during code reviews and pull requests.

Nice to have:

  • Cloud / AWS experience.
  • RxJS.
  • Experience writing RESTful APIs (MySQL, Postgres, Memcached, microservices)
  • Experience working in short iterations.
