Telesales Team Manager- Digital Recruitment Media- Central London- £32k £50k OTE

This is a key position directly supporting revenue growth. Your responsibilities will include:

• generating new business from the local government sector selling jobs board solutions

• carrying a target as well as managing and developing a team of Media Sales Executives (2 FTEs currently)

Role Definition:

- Develop the telesales structure continually reviewing territories & processes

- Lead the telesales team, motivating them to deliver

- Oversee performance management of sales staff

- Coaching sales staff, and ensuring career development plans are in place

- Use, interpret and analyse data to review past performance and identify risks and opportunities in the short, medium and long term

- Nurture relationships with new & existing customers to increase their current spend

- Become a sector and industry expert and keep up to date with any developments and changes

- Ensure effective CRM use to build high quality data

- Provide feedback from the market that will help shape future products and services

- Meet your targets

Desirable Skills and Experience:

- Successful track record in telesales & leading telesales teams

- A minimum of 3 years’ telesales experience

- Previous experience working as a team leader or in a senior telesales role.

- Formal sales training would be an advantage

- Demonstrable success in delivering revenue growth

- Outstanding ability to motivate and lead a sales team

- Excellent ability to communicate. Must be highly effective in written and verbal communications with all customer types.

- Strong decision-making capabilities. Must be analytical and use data to help drive decision making

- Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance

- Ideally experience of recruitment, media or b2b sales background

- Excellent negotiating skills & consultative sales skills

- Strong business acumen, networking and business acquisition skills

- Excellent time, planning and project management skills

- The ability to work in fast paced innovative organisation

- Motivation and self-drive coming out of your ears
