An exciting opportunity for an experienced Brand andBusiness Development Manager has arisen at a dynamic events company based near London Bridge.

With a proven track record in business development and brand management, you will utilise your skill base to develop relationships with new and existing clients; to identify, agree and target leads and formulate ongoing business development strategies.You will be required to develop, package and sell new event concepts for corporate and private clients.
The role will also require the Brand and Business Development Manager to build the company's brand visibility within the events industry and develop marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities in this Brand and Business Development Manager role include:

  • Demonstrating ideas and initiatives around plans for market growth
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
  • Designing and developing new event concepts and business focuses
  • Organising and attending client meetings and pitches
  • Designing sales tools for new concepts including PowerPoint presentations, e-shots and social media channels
  • Attending conferences, meetings and industry networking events
  • Maintaining social media and company website
  • Plus more

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record in successful business development, sales and marketing preferably within the events industry (min. 2 years)
  • Confident communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to build and maintain business relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail and deadline driven
  • Excellent networking skills
  • A proactive, problem solving mindset
  • Experience in brand management
  • Ability to identify, target and approach new accounts
  • A professional, discrete and confidential nature
  • Ability to develop an in-depth understanding of the live event industry and the appropriate sectors

The successful candidate will be working for a high profile event production and entertainment company and will need to demonstrate professionalism, integrity and discretion at all times.
