The Market Analyst will be required to develop, implement, and maintain an incisive and effective market analysis function to support programme development, subject reviews, student recruitment and marketing activity.

Conducting competitor analysis on various universities market offerings, identity, market trends pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation and presenting findings in a user friendly format.

The main responsibilities of the Market Analyst include:

  • Collecting data on competitors and market place
  • Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
  • Compile and analyse statistical data using modern and traditional collection methods
  • Provide full competitor analysis
  • Provide and set up web stats/reports across internal digital platforms


As a Market Analyst you will need to have the following skills:

  • Proven market research analysis experience
  • Ability to interpret large volumes of data
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (Tableau, BI Analytics, SAS, or similar)
  • Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking
  • Knowledge and experience of working in Higher Education
  • Advanced Excel skills
