We’re excited to be working with a leading global law firm to recruit a Bid Executive; leading on all their high value, big ticket strategic pursuits. Although not a new role, this is the first time a dedicated central bid resource has been hired to own the process and take an advisory role driving best practice across the firm.
With that in mind this role has a fantastic opportunity to progress and develop quickly as the firm and team grows. Day to day the successful candidate will be very partner facing, and highly visible on a global and senior level, working with the firm’s leadership to navigate large and complex cross jurisdictional tenders and create client led and winning presentations of a very high quality. This role will suit a confident individual capable of coaching senior individuals with an aura of respect and credibility.
Outside of strategic pursuits, the role will have a best practice approach, supporting the client feedback process to implement tools and databases to enable other areas of the BD and fee earning function to deliver smaller and more transactional pitches to the same quality and standard. Building relationships on a global level, you’ll also take ownership of a pitching calendar and annual strategy, making sure the firm are best placed to leverage resource for large scale panels when they come in.
Given the increased importance of pitching in the legal landscape this is a rare opportunity for a genuinely ambitious individual to make a real impact and progress into a management role very quickly.
