One of the UKs leading Apprentice providers are currently recruiting for a IT Curriculum Manager this is a home-based role but would require occasional travel to their London office. They are a fast-growing Apprenticeship business with a reputation for innovation and customer focus, acquiring, nurturing and utilising the talents of young people within IT and Digital.

The role will be responsible for developing the training programmes for the digital industries apprenticeships which are offered, the role includes the following responsibilities:

Job role:

- Manage the development and ongoing maintenance of programme materials and tools

- Develop and innovate new programmes to open new market opportunities for the businesses apprenticeship products

- Achieving outstanding customer satisfaction with programme content and material

- Maintain strong relationships and engagement with partners such as Vendors

- Support the 'Online First’ Curriculum strategy

- Marketing collateral reflects and successfully promotes programmes

- Help drive IT strategy by being a proactive member of the IT Board

Essential skills required:

  • Experience of managing Education and Learning programmes/products
  • Experience of the IT and Digital sector, and employment market
  • Innovative and forward thinking
  • Commercial acumen
  • Experience of developing classroom and online content to drive blended learning
  • Experience of training, assessing and coaching learners of varying ages
  • Experience of delivering online training
  • Experience of working with awarding organisations
  • Knowledge of sector skills, awarding and funding body regulations
  • Knowledge of IT, Digital Marketing and Business Support Apprenticeship frameworks
  • Knowledge of product management life-cycle
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are crucial to this role
  • Commercial acumen

Desirable:

  • Experience of using and developing courses on Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) such as Moodle
  • Experience of administering the Certiport and Ucertify platforms
  • Experience of managing the Microsoft Imagine Academy and /or Microsoft Partner programme
  • Experience of managing the Dream Spark programme subscription
  • Formal teaching qualification, CTLLS or higher

Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ (or equivalent)
  • CompTIA Network+ (or equivalent)
  • Microsoft MTA
  • Degree (or extensive experience) in IT Subject area
